Antonio Vegari is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Machine Learning at the University of Edinburgh. In this tutorial, he introduces the framework of probabilistic circuits (PCs), tractable computational graphs in which imposing structure guarantees exact probabilistic reasoning in polynomial (often linear) time.
